Unfortunately accidents can happen at any time and that means that your animal needs immediate medical attention. If you find yourself in this situation, please feel free to come straight to the clinic so that we can start necessary care as soon as possible. Patients that come in as an emergency are seen on a priority basis. This means that everything we are currently doing would be put on hold so that all of the staffs’ attention is on your pet. Usually the pet will be rushed to the treatment area so the doctor can start to address the medical issues immediately. During this time, the receptionist will get you checked into the hospital and gather additional information that may be helpful to the doctor. As soon as it is possible a technician will come and update you. Once your pet has been fully examined by the doctor we will work together to formulate a treatment plan based on your wishes. In the rare occasion that the emergency is too critical to handle here, we can make a quick referral to a clinic specifically designed for emergencies.
